Euro trip - Day 7

Up early again this morning & on the road at 6 am. Forecast was for dry weather & getting into low 20's in Croatia. Traffic was light as it is Saturday.
Wasn't long till I realised I needed fuel, but all stations were closed at this hour probably again it being Saturday. Got one at 7am and filled her up. Had my breakfast too, bananas and cereal bars. Shite.
Rolled back into Austria again which was no bad thing, nicer road surface and nicer scenery. Then I came across a border sign but couldn't figure out what country it was as it was in their language. Figured it was Hungary as a lot of the cars had the H logo on their plates . Countryside same as Czech or Slovakia. Lots of forests and little villages every couple of km.
Then I got to Slovenia border. Slovenia is nicer in my opinion. People either have more money or something, but everything looks better.
Nothing exciting to report till I reached the Croatian border. There is still a passport control here. I rolled up,handed over my passport, guy scanned it,all good. Had my gloves off, so decided to pull forward past checkpoint so I wasn't inpeding traffic. I didn't realise I had passed a 2nd hatch that I was supposed to stop at. This cranky young cop or customs woman came over to me and started giving out that I didn't stop. Grabbed my passport and went back into her kiosk. I had to walk back like a bold child and wait till she did her stuff. She gave out again. I just smiled and said...go raibh maith agat ....madra😀
After that it was 90km into Zagreb. About 2km to destination there were roadworks,so couldn't go the way Sat nav was telling me. Getting flustered at this stage. 24c, full gear with lining, tired, hungry & bursting for a piss. Just had to remain calm & eventually got to digs.
By fuck, did I enjoy my shower. So that's the latest.
Long day tomorrow. According to nav it's 8hrs 45 mins. That will be more like 11hrs.
Italy....here I come😀
