important Ireland's Best Biking Roads & Rideout Routes

How many times have you heard "down around Belgooly / Cloughjordan / Wexico there's a savage stretch of road boi" ?

Wheeeer de fook is dat, is the first thing enters my head, so I'm compiling a database showing the best biking roads around the country, I know there are websites and this has been done before, but on a larger pan European(spits) basis and with more emphasis on camping & s cenery etc.

It's a small country, and you're not let out for long on a Sunday (if at all CharlieIRL *cough*) so a quick blast around a series of nice sweeping corners with a good (not necessarily billiard table smooth) surface where you can get the power down early and have a bit of craic is more important than any s ceneryetc. even if its in the middle of nowhere and takes a shitty road to get there.

Instructions are below and simplified as much as possible (will form part of an overall 'Best Biking Roads' database when complete) and the rules are :

No apes / old-timers sticking down motorways or 'cork to donegal on a goldwing' type shyte. These routes will be personally inspected and may be used on future 'burger runs' so if there's any bog roads with craters the size of Bogmans mouth it'll be an automatic 2-month sentence for rehabilitation with Cecil

How to add routes ;

This is my Sunday morning run - Tuam to Westport and back again. Twisty Irish back roads at their best with some nice scenery and the odd sheep. I like odd sheep...

Hope this works, one I Done a while ago across Priests Leap outside Kilgarvan and back into Bantry, narrow stretches on the mountain but great bends that will bite you in the ass other roads are twisty and fast but again will test.
See what ya think

This may work, Saturdays trip from Killarney to Slea head & back, well worth the journey
Sundays trip along the Gap of Dunloe, splitting the Ring of Kerry, 105 miles, no potholes but bog roads, excellent journey

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...,1.675415&z=10

Could not get the map to display directly, any ideas ?
