GPz900rOC Eire July 2019

GPz900r Owners Club July 2019 Irish weekend circuit of Lough Derg.

After the Saturday morning FIB (urp)

We all rode off into town for the Ride-Out rendezvous.

Twenty-five miles later, a pause by the Lough Derg lakeside.

But no coffee, or ice-cream hereabouts, so soon moved on.

On we go with our guides about Lough Derg

Limerickman Declan in passing.

And

James.

Corkman

Kwaksam.

AndyB intent on overtaking during the clockwise around Lough Derg rideout.

The now thirty-five year old Beloved atop the slip, near the Lough Derg lakeside Larkins Bar, ice-creams all round, port of call.

BrianB, thunders along post vanilla cone.

James and Sam at the 52 5246.41 N 8 23 38.52 W Lough Derg viewing car-park.

Passed by Alan and Bev, aboard their KMW, cruising calmly towards our appointment with the Saturday evening BBQ back at GPz900rOC Irish weekend base camp.

AndyB intent on overtaking again, but this time giving the slow moving me an even wider berth.

A Jolly Good Show of a weekend enjoyed by this Auld Fart, so looking forward to same time, same place in 2020.

Re: GPz900rOC Eire July 2019

Love those old kwackers, look really well and great to see them in running order. On a small point of pedanticism, was it not always small z in the contrxt of GPz for the aircooled models and capital Z for the watercooled (I could be wrong)?

That's correct but the early water cooled models has a small z.

The Harley Sportster is a gateway bike. It's a slippery slope, which ends in madness like this.
Don't do it, kids!

I can't decide if I'm glad I read this thread or not, started off well but quickly descended into eye bleach territory.
