1999 yamaha tt600

Alright lads been thinking about this for a good bit. thinking seriously about buying one of these(tt600),so wat are they like anyone have or had one all info would be very much appreciated,had been thinking about buying an 83 katana 750, but weighed up the pro's and cons did not bother in the end.
it would be for a bit of on road and offroad.tanx lads

How ya , Good fun I had with one... Lots of fun on back wheel, Just keep eye on oil seem to burn a bit. Mine was kick start to... A bitch to get hang of. Once ya have you will be flyin. I thinkmine was a ttr600 not sure of difference.But ya fun bike.... Enjoy

tanx lads, ya the only thing that has me in two minds is, i have 2 steel pins running all the ways through the left leg from a fall from a road bike 18 years ago, the ol knee dis located then about 6 or 7 years ago:lbhbh.a lad i know that the be off roading said i can get a good strap with some form of springs or something,i'd say he was ripping the piss outta me,bionic man on a tt600 sure fcuk it we will see,gonna more than lightly buy it.

have a ttr600 meself, an tis as good on the back road and in traffic as it is off road. Go for it there a lot of fun. if ya want to check one out before you buy your welcome to check out my one. (tis not for sale)

hi and tanx for the info,the story is the price is very good and the milage is low.i wont be doing competition,its just for some on and off road,i have been driving road bikes for years, but never done the off road thing.its more for pricking around on,but we will say i get a bit of confidence and go to climb some dirt path, is the 600 up for the job ,or will it be constantly getting bogged down by the weight or are the just to heavy to be pulling and dragging when they do get stuck,please excuse me if my questions sound dumb,its going to be my first outing into this area,tanx:thumbsup2 :
