Help...

Anyone got any expertise in these? Mine was dead, batteries in the unit gone, I replaced them at the weekend and now the damn thing is acting the maggot, activating as I'm riding, not responding to the remote, except the remote will cancel the noise when it goes off, but it goes off again seconds later...

I'm thinking of taking it all apart again and taking out the batteries and be done with it, but maybe there's an easy answer?

Looking for options for a good secure garden shed to keep the bike in. Big enough to fit a large adventure bike in or the likes of an R1200RT. The garden its self is 110m2.

» "The blade is back" it never left it was just shite compared to the others.
Feb 21, 2020 - 8:57 AM - by johnny b
The new fireblade looks a savage peice of kit.
Honda had certainly fallen behind other brands and are still missing quikshifters on the 20k sterling basic bike.

The super duper version being reviewed below is 23k sterling.

Honda is back at the races.but at the price of a decent saloon cage are they going to sell?

Since 2008 the blade (the ugly nosed one with the habbit of eating cranks) has just increased in price with all the other sportsbikes.
In the last 12 years litre class bikes have gone from 15k new to now 20k new sterling.

Nearly all manufacturers are offering specials of their litre class bikes but is it price stopping stopping them from getting on the road.
We are being told in bike mags that the... [Read More]

» Bus oil on Griffith Avenue
Feb 18, 2020 - 10:51 AM - by phut
Bus oil all along a stretch of Griffith Ave (Dublin) this morning. A big, fat slick showing where the offending jalopy has been pulling in to stops. So take care.

Any bets on whether Dublin Bus or TFI clean it up?

» Tool Chests?
Feb 14, 2020 - 6:30 PM - by CodeJACK
Whats yer thoughts on this tool chest and how usefull the drawers are for depth etc? Are less drawers but deeper better than more drawers with more surface area?
Ive a significant birthday on the way and family are all chipping in a little to help me invest in a decent tool chest.

This is the one I think Im after:
https://www.donedeal.ie/tools-for-sa...rawer/24177830

The seller doesn't have much of a presence and orders them in from the UK on request. Im a little nervous paying for something so expensive without any come back. All I have is a mobile number really. Will I risk it?

Going to look at a vfr on Sunday in stillorgan, 3pm. I know a bit about bikes but not confident enough to base a purchase on my knowledge alone. Is anyone about Sunday 16th @ 3pm (Stillorgan village secondary car park) to give it a once over?

Cheers!!

» Broken ankle and biking
Feb 13, 2020 - 10:35 AM - by Frankkilty
So I'm getting my cast off today. After seven weeks, four plates, fourteen screws/pins and a dislocation with three fractures, I'm going to be free! On the positive, I've no ligament damage. I know I'm going to be stiff and it going to take time but has anyone else had something like this and how long until you were well enough to get back on the bike? Thanks.
